Thanks Sepiana this will teach us to think before we snap! Mark, great capture! You found a nature-made framing. I love the lighting in your image. Great job!

Thanks for the perfect subject, Sepiana. I had a great excuse to visit one of my favourite places, and take the pictures I love doing, today. whippet,
Great job! I really like how you put all the different framing shots into a collage. You have really good eyes to "see" them all.

whippet,
Don't worry if you didn't get the whole shape in your composition this time around; it is still an interesting framing shot.

And one from today.....
Helen, really nice shot! Very clever framing effect -- the tree branches frame the building door which in turn frames the woods behind the building.

Lots of great shots so far. Well done! I was driving home today and had a sudden thought that I had my camera and a fisheye lens and the fall colours were almost done for the year so why not frame them from where I was sitting. Don't try this driving down a major highway! In looking at the result I see that the rear view mirror makes another frame - might have to try that closer up with a more interesting subject behind me. Tony Tony, this is a winner on more than one count -- the image itself and how you took the shot. I love how sharp and detailed your image is and how you put your fisheye lens to good use.
Glad you tried this on a country road and not on a busy highway!

Another beauty! The out-of-focus frame really places the spotlight on the main subject. The infrared effect raises it another notch.
