Retirement is nice but there are parts of the job I miss. My photography duties were varied from studio portraiture, ceremonies, police and forensics and special events. This aircraft landed at our local airport and delivered some firefighting equipment that our base loaned during one of the hurricanes on the south and gulf coast.
As a base photographer I was able to be out on the flight line to cover this event. I do miss covering events like that. But I also like being to sleep late in the mornings.
