I am using PSE 14 (on Windows PC) and this is what I am observing when I open 3 images in PSE. First, for each opened image there is a tab for it above the images in the workspace and a thumbnail in the photobin. Now, if you make an image active by clicking its tab above the images, only a blue border will appear around the image's thumbnail in the photobin. However, if you select one or more images by clicking thumbnails in the photobin each selected image will have a thin white border around it and whichever image is currently active will also have the additional blue border around it. When I File -> Print, every image in the photobin with a white border around it, whether the image is currently active or not, is sent to the print dialog. You can then use the Remove button at the bottom of the left sidebar to deselect images you don't want to print. Hope this helps to clear this up

Looks like Moto and I were posting at about the same time.
Basically, what I said is the same as Moto.

Adding info to Sepiana's post. Adding the details of how to select images in photo bin. Select Images for Printing Using the Photo Bin before going to the Print dialogue.
1) For a single print click the image in the Photo Bin. 2) To print multiple images use Ctrl-Clicks to choose the images. (I don't remember what Ctrl is on a Mac.) Notes: 1) A white border appears around the Photo Bin image(s) selected for printing.
2) The current active image in the Editor will have a blue border in the Photo Bin. 3) An image can have both a blue and white border. 4) To not print the active Editor image, (with a blue and white border), CTRL-Click to remove the white border.
Moto, thanks for the reinforcement! As I have been saying all along -- "Select" is the crucial variable for a successful printing.

deprosq,
Thanks for joining this thread! Your input does help clear things up!
I just want to add some clarification for the benefit of users of earlier versions of Elements (who may be following this thread) -- not to look for those tabs. Adobe introduced this feature -- tabs/tabbed images -- in a later version of Elements.
