I have been using PSE13, but yesterday installed PSE15 for the first time. When I checked my plugins (Topaz & Nik) I noticed they weren't there. Is there an easy way to migrate the plugins across from PSE13 or will I have to deinstall / reinstall each one so that they show up in PSE15? In light of Tom's recent issue with plugins I certainly want to get it right the first time around so that I don't have to go through the same thing!

Sydney,
I installed 14 Topaz plug-ins in two copies of Elements 15 and I had no problems. I just went to the Plug-Ins folder within (in my case) Elements 14 and copied/pasted the Topaz folders in the Plug-Ins folder in Elements 15. Here is the path you need to navigate . . .
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements x.x\Plug-Ins
Another way is to run the installer and let it find Elements 15 and proceed with the installation.
As a side note -- I did the same copy/paste job for the Nik Collection. You can also run the installer.
I have been using PSE13, but yesterday installed PSE15 for the first time. When I checked my plugins (Topaz & Nik) I noticed they weren't there. This is to be expected. Each version of Elements is an independent one. This means that, if you install add-ons in one version, another version will not "know" about it. When you get a new version of Elements, you are getting what is usually referred to as an "out of the box" or a "virgin" version. If you want it enhanced with add-ons such as plug-ins, you need to do the work.

I copied and pasted my NIK Collection from the PSE 13 plug-ins folder to the PSE 15 plug-ins folder with no problem.

Good news to report - copying the plugins over to pse15 worked like a charm! I have just tested everything without issue. Thank you both for helping out with this
