When I click on New Posts I am getting 8+ pages of New Posts. I logon every day, at least once so I wouldn't expect all the posts from days ago to show up but they do.
How can I limit the posts to those I haven't seen since my last logon?

I thought that logging on would solve your problem, but since you are logged on, I wouldn't know what to suggest. Have you tried to mark the forum read (after you have read the post you want) and see what happens the next time you log on.
The post marked "new", are the once you haven't read, not the once that are new since your last visit.

It may be that you can't just have posts that are new ones since your last log on, but the unread ones are shown as ' New'
If you want to remove the 'New' indicator then you can do that by using the buttons at the top of the listing:
Select = new
Action = mark as read
But I'm not sure if that is what you want to do.

Hi Sue, I think the real problem is that the button label is somewhat misleading; what it does is show all posts in reverse chronological order. The ones that are new to you are flagged with the new icon. I have come to really appreciate this button; instead of having to choose "new in the last 2 days" or whatever, I can just scan for all new as far back as I need. I can select the ones I don't want to read and mark them as read. All in all I find navigating this forum much easier as I learn how it works. If you have any further questions please ask them!

When wanting to read New Posts, having clicked the appropriate 'New Posts' button, is there somewhere to click on to take me to 'Last Read Post' rather than the beginning of the thread or the last post of the thread? Hopefully, it's just that I've not worked out what to click on. Currently, if the thread has several posts that I've already read, I will click on the 'about an hour ago' / '6 mins ago' etc. However, that obviously takes me to the last post, rather than my 'last read post' Sorry if I'm not being very clear Hopefully, you will understand what I am trying to ask Thanks

Does this help at all? This is the way I navigate when I'm logged in.

Many thanks, tpgettys and Marianne For some reason, although I'd hovered my cursor over the page, I clearly missed that 'New' was also a link! So, I haven't tried that. Murphy's Law clearly exists! Having worked UP the list of New Posts, this was the last one so I'll have to wait till a bit later before I can try it out. Thanks very much, again, for coming up with the answers. I'm so appreciative of all your shared skills and knowledge etc etc. Edit: Clicking on 'New' in the New Posts lists is working like a charm Many thanks, again!

Julie, I'm glad I could help. I can imagine how frustrating it was for you.
