I am afraid you cannot use these templates in Elements. These are .lrtemplate files. If you try to open them in Elements, you will get this message.
These 2017 Calendar templates (PDF) will work in Elements.

Well, before I had asked the question, I had already downloaded the FREE Weaver templates; so, nosy me checked out the contents before deleting them to oblivion.
As you said, there were .lrtemplate files that I can't do anything with; however, there are also two sets of 5100 X 2871 jpegs, large numbers and small numbers, in landscape format; I believe I can use them.
I am going to check out the brucephilpot ones as well; thanks !

1. Duplicate the background layer. 2. Activate the Magic Wand tool. Make sure that "Contiguous" is turned off. 3. Click on any one of the daily white squares. This will select all the white squares. 4. Press Delete. 5. Hide or Delete the original background layer. 6. Save in the .psd format to preserve background transparency.

Thanks; it looks like I may have to make some calendars.
This will be a good guinea-pig to try out our bulk ink refills on.
