I just bought an Asus laptop whose native resolution is 3840x2160. It's connected to a monitor whose native resolution is 1920x1080. When I start PSE, the font is so small that it's unreadable. This occurs regardless of whether I'm using the laptop screen or if the laptop is connected to the monitor.
I read online about it but there doesn't seem to be a fix that works. I have PSE 11 and am in process of downloading a trial version of PSE15 to see if that works better (but apparently, even the UI scaling option works only for PSE, not for organizer).
This seems like a bizarre problem. Has anyone else gotten past it?
Thanks.

If your using Windows change the Display Settings to 1920 x 1080 in the Control Panel when using the external monitor.

Hi kufloyd, I believe the problem is that Elements 11 does not support high resolution displays. This support was introduced in Elements 13 by providing 200% scaling for monitors with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 or greater. As your tablet has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, you should see a vast improvement in the font size when you set the UI Scale Factor to Large - 200%.
I also have Elements 15 installed on a tablet (with a native resolution which is lower than what you have). My tablet has a resolution of only 2736 x 1824. This is what I get with the UI Scale Factor set to 200%.
