Hello all,
Happy New Year. Since late December, my licenced copy of PSE 8 (Installation disc and serial #) will not open with an error message window opening saying "Licensing for this product has stopped working ... and quotes "Error: 150:30".
Can anyone please advise how I can overcome this (de) licensing of PSE 8?
Sincerely, ranger123.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger; the same thing happened to my wife on one of our machines.
Coincidentally, it happened to E7 on the same day that we installed E12, so naturally I thought it had something to do with that.
Instead of first doing the smart thing and asking the expert (Sepiana), I uninstalled and reinstalled E7 and got it to work that way.
Afterwards, Sepiana pointed me toward that license fixing tool and I now have it on standby for the next time it happens.

I've not had that problem with any of my Adobe products.
I have saved this thread for standby should it ever be needed.
Thank you.

Sepiana, the second link in your above message seems to be MAC specific instructions and I cannot make heads nor tails of them. Elements 7 just pulled that "Must reinstall" trick on one of our machines. I had already downloaded the tool several months ago and had it saved in a folder; I just don't know what to do with it now.
