Hi Genealogy Gem,
If you to to Profile at the top of the page, then click on Edit Profile, there is a Notifications tab. That will give you the ability to choose your notification settings.

So far as I have found, there is no capability for receiving instant e-mail alerts of posts made in specific threads. I do get a daily Pro-Boards e-mail, regardless of any activity in any threads I am interested in or not, which is rather more of an annoyance than a convenience. Hope this helps.  |

Yes, there is only currently a way to get notification of all new posts on a daily basis. You get an email message a day later.

I believe the option for more frequent notifications is something ProBoards is considering, but it isn't available yet.

I went to "profile" then "edit profile" then "notifications" and changed the only option that didn't already say "NEVER" to never.
After I kept receiving the e-mails, I checked again, and the little box still says "NEVER"
What did I not do right ?

Not sure what your problem is, Buckskin. The one you want to set to never is the one called Participated.
