Is it possible to use multi-quote when making replies on this site; and, if so, how does one go about it ?
It may be obvious, but I sure cannot figure it out.
Thanks for reading.

Buckskin, Major Major said to select each post to be able to make a Multipost, but he did not say HOW to select each post. You do that by clicking on the gear icon, then a window will drop down with the first selection saying Select Post. You need to do this with each post as shown below: Hope this helps!

To select a thread check the box in front of the thread subject, or alt-left-click (option-left-click on a Mac) the thread (the gear icon will change color). If I do alt-left-click, the post will get selected. The little gear icon will change color and now the drop-down menu displays the option to "Deselect Post".

Is this what you want? Check this thread on our FAQs board. TEST --- TEST --- TEST Sepiana, Maybe he did... but it was not clear to me. TEST --- TEST --- TEST Thanks so much to the both of you; I think I have it figured out. Ignore the three quotes as I just selected them at random to see if it worked. Once I got the posts selected, I had to also click "quote" in the last selected post to get it to work.

I never knew how to do this either.....BuckSkin your last post finally helped me to understand.....now if I can only remember if the time comes when I want to use it! The quotes included in my post were just randomly selected.

I never knew how to do this either.....BuckSkin your last post finally helped me to understand.....now if I can only remember if the time comes when I want to use it! That is always my problem; I can't remember the where, what, and how, when the time comes; I even ask the same questions I have already had answered a few weeks ago.

Yes, the additional step of clicking on the Quote button was part of Craig's instructions.

Thank goodness I am not the only one. A friend had an 'idiot box', where she kept information gained. A good idea, but I always forgot to write things down when I tried that.

Many thanks for posting this question - I had no idea how to do more than one quote too! As Whippet says, I hope I can remember how to do this as/when the time comes Julie
