I just learned how to make torn edges and would like to share it with the community. The tutorial uses the Torn Edges and Spatter filters on a layer mask. Preparation: Add a bkgrd and a drop shadow to the image. Optional - I added a white border around the example image. Moto, a really nice find, thanks for bringing it to our attention. I have never before been able to think of a use for this filter.
