Berie, what a great capture! Glad to see that you have used cubeupload. Presenting your images larger will allow people to view your work better.

Thanks Helen. I've still a lot to learn about Cubeupload. In my entry above yours only a tiny pale square appears with no picture. When I clicked on that, a big picture appeared. What happened to my thumb nail?

And now when I click on the little square I get a message that says Not Found! Very strange indeed!!!! Did you follow the directions I attached with my image? I'm going to try them as printed above and see how my image appears. i.cubeupload.com/YaKLs8.jpgOK seemed to work...but I can't see Berie's image. |

OK.....I can now see them all! There must be some quirky thing going on though as when I tried yesterday I did have trouble seeing Berie's bird image.
Question for all of you.....Do the images attached this way....via direct link take a long time loading in the thread for you? For me it's instant but a member has complained about the use of direct link so trying to see how widespread the problem might be. I have a new computer so may not be a good judge on this. Thanks for your help.

For what it's worth, using cube-upload, the only two images I have posted thus far, I web-saved at 750 pixels wide and copied/pasted the "embed image" link. Those two particular full-size (750 pixels wide) images immediately show up for me. I have no particular knowledge as to the methods used, but I have noticed several images in various posts may be there one time and not the next. Earlier today, all I saw where Berengia's bird is now was a little "X"; I clicked on that "X" and got the standard web-page that says "the page is unavailable" or somesuch. That's just my two cents worth. |
