Having an image chosen to be included in the weekly Image of the Week thread is a fun way to highlight the creative work of our members. Judges are volunteers, just like you, who have made the commitment to take an active role in this process.
Maybe, they have had an image selected and want to do their part in ensuring that other members know that nice feeling of having their work recognized? Or perhaps, they don't even have a gallery but have found helpful information posted at this site.
In that case, while they may not feel qualified to answer member questions, they do want to take a part in the continued success of the forum.
There are no pre-qualifications to judging. EVERYONE has personal preferences when looking at art.......we all learn from seeing what appeals to a particular judge.
There is a private board, only visible to judges, with suggestions for selecting and creating the final IOW post. The new schedule will begin April 10th. I am happy to work around dates when you would not be available and our judges are good at
making a switch if something unforeseen comes up.
Please add your name below if you are ready to join our judging team.......

Being a judge is not a lot of work - the hard part is deciding which images to pick! Please consider volunteering!
