Very nice. I especially like your text on a path to go with your quote. Did you make your background papers with brushes? They go so well with the photo.

Did you make your background papers with brushes? Thanks Janice, the paper comes from the graphics background papers in PSE12

Wow you've got this challenge off to a great start with both your pages Jackscrap. I love the face in the tree trunk on your first page, great layout too. Your second page made me smile - what a grin on that big fishes face...

what a grin on that big fishes face... Thanks Lillias, I forgot to mention that the quote came from the movie 'Finding Nemo', Bruce was the name of the shark. I adore your romantic page, the background sky is very well done. It reminds me that I must start collecting more brushes!

Everyone has done such a nice job. Great ideas with great execution. I just watched Dirty Dancing - but I can't, for the life of me, come up with anything for "no one puts Baby in the corner" - my favorite quote from the movie. That movie is ripe with quotes. Then Titanic was on and you can only imagine what a treasure trove of quotes that one provided. But, my fall back - one of my all time favorite movies (a talk show guy back home called movies like this "guilty pleasures") is Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. I took the photo of Keith Urban off the tv - he was performing at the Super Bowl, I think. It photographed pretty well, except for the flash in the middle of the photo.

These are all so great. I will put my thinking cap on and try to come up with something.

Nice one Sydney. Great idea for the yellow brick road and the text on an arc shape fits in so well...

Thanks BillieJean. I still need a lot of practice with scrapbooking ideas and techniques, but at least I managed to get out of the starting blocks with a project.
