Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping.

Luck of the Irish racing greyhound. Every year, thousands of Irish bred greyhounds are discarded, with horrific things happening to a lot of them. The lucky ones are those which are rescued by devoted people. Then find their forever homes. This is Milly. She was three years old when I got her, six years ago. G.R.A.C.E

This leprechaun wasn't so lucky to get 12"+ of snow before St. Patrick's Day

Luck of the Irish (Coffee.) As an additional bit of Irish, the reflections on the table are from TV's showing the Notre Dame second round basketball playoff. They may need the luck, as they are currently trailing West Virginia. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Hope you had a great St Patrick's Day week.

I had the Luck of the Irish this evening - by seeing this happy couple all decked out and ready to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. Luckily, they did not object to my taking a quick photograph.
upload and share your photos

whippet, great thinking out of the box and interpretation of this week's theme. Milly got the Luck of the Irish indeed. Your image says it all!

Andy, I guess the leprechaun didn't have the Luck of the Irish but you had. Great finding! Well done!

Bill, great composition and DOF! All in the spirit of the Luck of the Irish. Well done!
It looks like the Luck of the Irish didn't shine on Notre Dame after all and they ended up losing to West Virginia (by a final score of 83-71)!!!
Yes, indeed. I had a lot of fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day with my Irish friends -- lots of music, dance, and . . . that special Irish coffee.

Brenda, great capture! You were lucky indeed that they didn't object posing for you. I love the expression on their faces; it is all about the Luck of the Irish. Well done!
