Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping.
NOTE:
The idea behind this week’s theme is that, when you compose your shot, you use the corner(s) of the frame, i.e., you have your subject coming into the frame. It is not as awkward as it sounds. You may have to tilt your camera though! Experiment!

Last week I was among the redwoods and took several corner composed shots of the tall trees but I was a bit too early for this weeks theme - closest I could come to a towering redwood back home was the local cell tower . Lot's of possibilities for this weeks theme. Tony

This is my effort to "skew" the image of Marlow Church so that its most salient feature comes from the corner of the frame. Yes, it's a bit laboured but it did invite me to view the world otherwise than vertically or horizontally.

At the corner of Bellevue Ave. and Pelham St. in Newport, RI stands the Elks Club/Parkgate building. On this site was the US Naval Academy during the Civil War (before being demolished to make way for this building).

Frank, great capture! One can just "feel" the motion -- racing from the corner into the frame. Beautiful!

kdcintx, great finding. I can envision this hanging on the wall. Simple, yet a classic! Well done!

Brenda, I love your view of the world! You were not afraid of experimenting; the result was an image which keeps one going back to it. Kudos to you!

You captured the building on the corner . . . and the iron fence coming from the corner of the frame. Very original! Well done!

Telegraph pole near my house, and I never noticed the potential until today. My lizard.
