Diana Day, a frequent contributor at Photoshop Elements Techniques magazine and the former Elements Village, has created a private FB Group open to our members. With an emphasis on creating digital art, Diana has specific requirements that members participate by creating and sharing their work and commenting on the work of others. Tutorials are posted and members are encouraged to post their results as well as share tutorials and sites that they have found helpful. If you are a FB member you can find out more about the group here. Once accepted into the group be sure to introduce yourself and read the welcoming statement.

Sorry to hear it's a fb site. I know that is the coming trend, but it's sad for those of us who don't care for fb to not be able to participate. I love forums, but I know that concept is coming to an end. The writing is on the wall.

Thanks for the information Helen. Sounds like the kind of thing I could have been interested in but unfortunately not on Facebook.

cats4jan and Lillias I understand that FB is not for everyone. It was a long time before I made the leap! As I have shared our PSE&M site with members of the FB group, I just wanted to make sure that our members were aware of the group that Diana had created.

Thanks for the heads up Helen. I think I might just take the leap as well and sign up for a FB account so as to join the group.

cats4jan and BillieJean I understand that FB is not for everyone. It was a long time before I made the leap! As I have shared our PSE&M site with members of the FB group, I just wanted to make sure that our members were aware of the group that Diana had created. That's not a problem Helen. After much thought, consideration and soul searching I was coaxed into joining FB a couple of years ago and didn't find it an experience I liked so I closed my account. It's a pity that some of the member/members from the old elements village site didn't migrate over to PSE&M instead of FB. I think Janice is right, Forums as we know them are gradually dying mainly because of the various social networking sites that are around now and it's most unfortunate. I hope we can manage to keep this forum going for as long as possible.

I am with you, Billie Jean. I have not had any interest in facebook. Of what I have seen, it just doesn't seem to be for me. I hope we don't lose this forum as I truly enjoy it. It is too bad that the old village folks didn't all move here. Keep our fingers crossed. Thank you Helen, for keeping folks in the "loop".
