Since the Nik Collection has been available to us all I have been experimenting a little. The first image is the original shot early summer a couple of years ago. The second using Colour Efex Pro to attempt an autumn/fall edit. What's your opinion? freeimagehost

Well done.......my only thought might be to mask back some of the green sporadically through the image so that there is some variation in the leaves.

Hi It appears that you applied the Indian Summer filter … for variation you can add and combine a number of filters. For instance, after you select the Indian Summer filter , you can add a contrast filter such as Contrast Color Range. I think the magenta preset looks great on your image. Using Helen’s suggestion, instead of masking, use the Control Points built in the Nik filters—this will allow you to selectively apply the filter. Good luck … and have fun.

You might want to play around with the sunlight filter or glamor glow filters as well for this particular image.
