This is what pops up on my screen this morning when I click on an image to enlarge it. Is it happening to anyone else?

I'm not getting that message Rita. I use the Firefox browser.

BillieJean, on Firefox I don't get it either, but Firefox does not play with Norton Security. I don't believe it anyway, but posted it to find out if other users of Norton have the same experience.

OK I'm afraid I can't help you there then as I don't have Norton. Hopefully someone else who has will be able to help.

Rita,
I have been getting the same warning when I click on an image to enlarge it. This began late last night. It doesn't happen all the time though, just now and then.
I may be wrong but I don't believe it has to do the browser being used or the imgbb website. I use Norton Internet Security; I believe you do too. It looks like NIS is generating some false-positives.

I'm not getting that message Rita. I use the Firefox browser. This is not a browser issue. The screen shot Rita posted shows that the message is being generated by Norton. I use Norton Internet Security and I am getting the same warning.

The contents of the message looks OK to me Rita.
Out of curiosity, If you would click on the detailed report link, I would be interested to see what you are presented with and why Norton thinks our photo hosting site is dangerous.

I may be wrong but this seems to be a Norton issue -- a false-positive. It is widely known that this happens sometimes. So much so that Norton has provisions in place to handle this kind of situation.
My Norton product incorrectly alerts that a file is infected, or a program or website is suspicious
I went to the Norton website and checked what they have on the imgbb website. As my screen shot shows, there is no problem.

Sepiana,
Thanks for your confirmation and information. I know you have been a long-time user of Norton, like me, but lately I have been developing some doubts about it. It has been doing some strange and aggravating things. All false positives.
It won’t let me download from Fotosketcher. Has removed Topaz installation files that have been on my computer for years.
In this Forum it keeps showing popups “only safe content is displayed”. That one often also pops up on news sites, where of course I can’t judge whether it’s right or wrong.
On top of it all, it forgets to run scans it should run on a schedule.
Have you observed any of this behavior?

Rita,
I have had no problems with NIS except that it removed the 64-bit version of the Wire Worm plug-in and it won't let me reinstall it. It is no big deal because I also have the 32-bit version of this plug-in. This just happened recently. I will be contacting the creator of this plug-in to let him know of this new development.
As to the "only safe content is displayed” . . . NIS is not the one to blame. I believe it has to do with your Internet Options (Security tab).

Thanks, Sepiana, I will look into the Internet Options. It would be interesting if one could find out what on this forum they consider 'unsafe content'. Such knowledge might explain all sorts of things.

Sepiana, you are better than Google. I have searched for this, but this page never came up. Thanks, Rita

The original warning appears to refer to a redirect to viglink.com - presumably a redirect from the image hosting site. Viglink is an advertising company that likely the image hosting site is linking to to generate the ads on the page. Maybe there is a problem with viglink - I'd be a bit wary if I saw this.
