Several members have reported getting warning messages from their Symantec anti-virus when they click on links within this forum. When this is related to something called VigLink, this is an incorrect message - the links are fine and do not pose a threat.
From ProBoards support forum:
"VigLink is a company that helps online websites earn money from their content. ProBoards uses the VigLink Convert service to generate revenue from forums that we host." "You'll notice sometimes that links you click on the forum first take you to a redirect.viglink.com URL, then take you to the content originally linked. This is due to VigLink's integration with our service. VigLink is a completely safe site. Norton is reporting a false positive in this case."
If you get this, you should follow the process with your anti-virus to report a false positive. For Symantec, this is submit.symantec.com/false_positive/
