Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping.
NOTE:
This week let’s capture something symmetrical, i.e., balanced in the use of shapes and lines. It can be man- or nature-made symmetry (although the latter may not be so easy to find). It is all about composing your shot to depict a sense of balance and harmonious proportions.

This week was visiting Newark Park which was originally built in around 1550 as a Tudor hunting lodge. It was very symmetrical then - not quite so now with a few more additions but pretty good for a symmetry photo. From inside the bay window is also quite symmetrical Tony

Architectural symmetry in Port Townsend, WA. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!! Bill, what a capture of Symmetry! The zooming-in and the angle (perspective?) made it quite a unique image. Well done!

Thank you so much. I want to thank you for this challenge. I have seen those buildings for years, and always considered them an eyesore. Now I view them with different eyes.

Apologies if this does not work as it should. I am working from the iPad and found it very difficult. This shot was taken on the second day of our holiday, in Carlsbad California. I thought the sails of the windmill looked symmetrical. If they don't, I am definitely suffering from jet lag! pic upload edit Dennis

There is indeed symmetry on the windmill sails as well as on its wall (side?). Beautiful, sharp image! Well done!
BTW, no need for apologies. Your dedication to participating in this challenge is very much appreciated. Thanks and . . . have a wonderful vacation! Say Hi to Brenda!
