Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme.
You are allowed to do some photoshopping.

The consolidation of small farms into big ones has left a lot of old farm houses and barns unoccupied and lots of choice for this subject. Here's one close to home that I've photographed a few times and gets more dilapidated every time.

Tony, what a capture! The way the light falls on the farm house just highlights its dilapidation. It is a sad image but a very beautiful one.

Nice find Sepiana, I'd expect rent to be low!! . There are some reflections in this one as it was shot through a train window today.  Thanks for the theme. |

Thanks, Bill! I'd expect that house to be free for the taking (by those who are adventurous). The wooded lot it sits on is gorgeous. Just bulldoze the house and have a new one built!
You got a jewel too! Despite the dilapidation/neglect, that building has character and beautiful architectural symmetry. Great finding! |
