I am using PSE 12 on a Windows 10 machine. I am trying to use the Process Multiple Files feature to add a watermark to a large number of files. I have tried with .TIFF, .JPG and .PSD files and the watermark only shows on the .JPG files. Nothing that I have read indicates that in only works on .JPG files. Any ideas? I have watched tutorials that demonstrate with .PSD files. I really want the watermark on the .TIFF files.

I also have Elements 12. I just did some testing using batch-processing to add a watermark to some .tiff files. It worked just fine.
Can you give more details about your workflow? Thanks!

I am going to be scanning in a large number of negatives, so I am testing out what my process will be. I scanned the files in originally as TIFF at 600 DPI. I then used the Process Multiple files feature to make .JPG versions at 300 DPI (in a different folder). I created a test folder with a few of the .TIFF and .JPG files in it to do my testing. At one point I also created .PSD files just for grins. I use the Process Multiple Files feature. Only the resulting .JPG files have the watermark. I tried to upload my resulting .TIFF file (no watermark) and a .PDF of the PSE12 screenshot but got an error that the file types aren't supported.

Also, I logged any errors and the only ones were because I have some .XLS file in the folder.

I have another computer with PSE12 on it and the watermark shows on a .TIFF file. I guess I will reinstall PSE12 on the computer that I am using for this project. Thanks for verifying PSE12 functionality. Now I know that it is my computer, not the product.

I did some more testing between computers and with different TIFF files. It appears that the problem is the TIFF files that I scanned in with my Epson V700 scanner. Other .TIFF files work as expected. I am scanning negatives into .TIFF format with my Epson V700 photo scanner. My thought is that some how there is something funky with the .TIFF files created by the Epson scanner software.
Here is what I tried: - Using the PSE Process Multiple Files function I created new .TIFF files from the ones that I scanned in. My thought was that if PSE created the .TIFF files, anything funky would be removed. - I then used the Multiple Files function and tried to add a watermark.... still doesn't work. - I then thought to try scanning from within PSE to remove the Epson v700 software from the process. Unfortunately the driver for Epson V700 in PSE doesn't give the option of scanning negatives, therefore the light that comes from top of the scanner and converts the negative to a positive doesn't work.
I don't know if my theory that the Epson V700 scanner software is doing something funky is correct or not, but that is the best that I have so far. My goal is to get a watermark on the .TIFF files in some batch mode. I am going to have almost 2000 files and want to do this as efficiently as possible.
Anyone have any suggestions?

This may be worth a shot:
As a test, try taking a few of the scanner TIFF files into irfanview, and output them back to tif format but change something, like the name or size. See if they work

Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the program and ran the .TIFF files through and changed the name of the files. Then tried the watermark process in PSE and the same result, no watermark shows.
I downloaded Contenta Converter and it successfully added a watermark in a batch mode. I guess that I will have to buy it and use it along with PSE for my process.
I also sent a question to Epson support to see if they can shed any light into the issue. Given that my scanner is discontinued I don't expect a response that will help me.
If anyone else has other suggestions I'm open to trying.
Thanks for your help.
