I am using PSE12 on a windows 10 machine. I am using the Process Multiple Files feature to and I want to add both a watermark and a caption to a photo. I first added a watermark to a small batch of test photos. Then I took those photos and attempted to add a caption using the Description field that I had filled in for the photos. No luck. The caption didn't show up. I added the caption to photos without the watermark successfully. Can anyone help me with my attempt to have both on my photos?

I'm curious as to how you added the description. In any case, I doubt whether you can batch process both a caption and a watermark - the feature is really rudimentary. And to answer your question in the companion thread, I just did a test and added a watermark to a psd file without problems. I was using PSE 13, but they should be the same - I doubt that feature changed.

I got both a caption and a watermark to work on the same photo. Thanks for your reply.

I am curious. How did you get both a watermark and a caption on the same photo? Did you do the batch-processing twice? One for the watermark and another one for the caption? That's how I do it.

I'm curious. How does one create a caption? It isn't in the help file.

Go to Labels and select Caption. Now you have three options. NOTE: You can select any one of them, separately or in a combination.
File Name - Show each file's name (or the new name you assigned in the section -- File Naming>Rename Files). Description - Use the text you had entered in the Description section of the File Info dialog (File>File Info> . . .). Date Modified - Show date the file was last changed.
You can also customize the position and size of the caption text. The options are the same as when you are adding a watermark.
