On the site, it says 'Instant download'. If that is so, then why do they insist on my name, address, etc.?

I would assume that if you take the offer they would like your contact information in hopes that you might purchase something from them in the future.

I think you do need to supply a real email address, as the registration code is sent to you after the download. |

I think you do need to supply a real email address, as the registration code is sent to you after the download. And without a registration number, . . . you will not be able to save your work.
