This isn't just a floating twig - it's a genuine Pooh Stick. These shots were taken at the original Pooh Sticks Bridge in Ashdown Forest, where the whole group played Pooh Sticks with much interest and enjoyment. Just goes to show how easily mature, rational adults can be transformed into children - must be magic!

"...lonely as a cloud, that floats.." I wasn't wandering further than the back garden to get this shot of clouds floating on the breeze.
Brenda
Brenda, floating clouds -- so perfect for this theme! What a beautiful shot! Blue sky + floating clouds. And the quote -- "...lonely as a cloud, that floats.."? A reference to . . . I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud by William Wordsworth? One of my favorite poets? You made my day. Thanks!

Was at Niagara Falls this week and with the high water levels in the Great Lakes there is even more water than usual going over it - so it's pretty wild below the falls but the tour boats still manage to float close and get the tourists wet!
And this shot reminded me of that Muhammad Ali quote "Float like a Butterfly, sting like a bee" Tony
Tony, two great shots! Two winners! Great composition and beautiful colors.
And the reference to "Float like a Butterfly, sting like a bee" by Muhammad Ali? Priceless! You made me smile.

Brenda, what a finding! I love the sequence of shots with the first shot leading to the second one where we can see the "thing that floats", the Pooh Stick. Very creative (with the bonus of two sharp and detailed shots)!

I took this shot yesterday of one of the Sydney ferries plying the waters between Circular Quay and Manly

What beautiful pictures, Moto. With all those people, it is a wonder the maid doesn't sink. I wish I took Tony's photos, but I didn't. I do love his butterfly photo.

Blimey. How did I manage that. I should keep well away when I am tired. My apologies to Tony.
