It has been another slow week in the galleries this past week, but I am putting that down to the fact that it is getting warmer and hopefully you are all busy enjoying the June weather (at least those of you in the Northern hemisphere! - for those of you in the South I hope the turn of the season is not too drastic for you!).
Thank you therefore to everyone who has taken the time to upload their photos to their Individual Gallery, we appreciate it!
Despite the lower number of images I still had a hard time coming to my decision; so here are the honorouble mentions:
My first choice is this image from Sydney, entitled "Bike and Blooms" - I really like that the background is monochrome and gritty in contrast to the beautiful colours of the flowers and the bike!
This image from Berengaria, entitled "Old Wassaic House" is beautifully processed and really adds to make this house look even older. I really like the fading vignette used here.
"Ripley Castle" by dandc really made me miss the UK. We lived in North Yorkshire for 3 years and our daughter was born in North Yorks, so I have a special place in my heart for this part of the UK. This really reminds me of those wonderful years there. Thank you for taking me back!
And the IOW this week goes to deany with "soft lavender". I so love the soft processing of this flower, just the right treatment of this shot. It truly does belong on a wall!
Again, thank you everyone for uploading your photos to your galleries and sharing them with us, we truly appreciate it!
