I saw a video about wet plate photography in the 1800's and decided to simulate it in On1 PRAW. I chose a a Civil War re-enactment that I had captured in 2005. I sharpened, added a motion blur and masked out the subject, changed to B&W grossly adjusting blue & red, added textures and an emulsion frame. Before and after created using On1 compare mode. The only tuts I found were for full blown PS which I don't have. I watched a couple, learned what was crucial and modified my own work flow in On1 Photo RAW to create this look. Steps I used:1) Oversharpen, 2) Motion & surface blur masking out the subject, 3) Monochrome accentuating red and blue, 4) Tone - reduce whites and highlights & add noise, 5) Apply textures using different blending modes. Optional add sepia of other color wash The tut I garnered the most is on PetaPixel upload full resolution photos

I am still trying to get my head round Elements 11. But I have only had it for about two years. I have learned a lot since being a member here.
