Sorry we are late posting this week. Lots of nice edits with last week's Spanish Dancer. Here is another picture that I took with this challenge in mind....looking forward to seeing where you go with this image. u.cubeupload.com/HMCA/749DF8A7296.jpg

Thanks, Sepiana, I am still exploring Gradients and finding more ways to use them.

ritage.....I agree with Sepiana! Reminds me of some fashion reality show I watched with my daughter awhile back. Fashion designers were presented with a variety of materials that they would have to work into designing a gown. Never would have expected to see something like this.....LOVE it! Will be interesting to see the direction that other members take.

Will be interesting to see the direction that other members take. Well, you know me by now, hmca. Just in time for tea, Tarzan.

From too much rain with a great reflection, a shady spot in the desert, and a jungle retreat it seems this image has captured your imagination. So far no one has done anything that I expected I might see! That's one of the reasons I love being one of the hosts for this challenge.

Here I turned it into a pattern and painted the decoration with the Pattern Stamp and some foliage brushes.

You really do think outside the box Rita. Love it.

ritage, not only do you think out of the box, but your understanding of what can be achieved with the different features within PE is very impressive! I like the way the lights and darks of the greens hug the contour of your vase and seem to shimmer in the light.

Thank you BillieJean and Helen. The "shimmering in the light" is the effect of a Levels Adjustment and High Pass Sharpening, both overdone, before making the pattern. A treatment that would ruin any image but can make a pattern more expressive.
