Hi members, I require some help please.
I have downloaded a plugin called Perfect Eyes (trial) , I have the license code to active.
My problem.... the plugin has downloaded to program files and I copy pasted into photoshop elements 15 plugin file. The plugin will not appear in Pse 15 nor as short cut on desktop. Any suggestions please on making this plugin active.
Regards Terry

I have downloaded a plugin called Perfect Eyes (trial) I apologize that I am not smart enough to help, but I would like a link to where you got the plug-in; anything that makes fixing eyes easier is always welcome.

Hi Terry,
I think you are talking about Perfect Eyes/Perfectly Clear. (Please, correct me if I am wrong). I am not familiar with this plug-in but I checked their website and it looks like you did the right thing. According to the User Guide, if the installer fails to locate a hosting program (ex.: Elements), you need to do a manual installation.
Perfectly Clear Complete User Guide
There could be other reasons why this plug-in is not being displayed in Elements 15. However, this is the first thing that comes to mind. (I am assuming the installer comes with two plug-in files -- a 32- and a 64-bit one.) If you copied/pasted the 32-bit file in the Plug-ins folder in Elements 15, this plug-in will not appear because Elements 15 is a 64-bit program. You need to copy/paste the 64-bit file.
Another reason is that there is a problem with the installer (damaged? corrupted?). You could try to make a fresh download.
If the problem persists, I would strongly suggest you contact Support.

As to no shortcut on the desktop, . . .
Is this plug-in also available as a standalone program? If not, then, there should be no shortcut.

If you scroll down the page, you will see the statement that among other image corrections, this plug-in will address "fixing eyes".

Yes Sepiana , it is part of Perfectly Clear. Due to a mistake I made with my order and then cancelled Athentech forwarded me a plugin Perfect Eye with a license number attached. I have since uninstalled and done a fresh download but will still not show in PSE 15. Will take your advice and contact Athentech support for help. Many Thanks

Perfectly clear is a plug and not a standalone product. It shows up in elements 13, 14 and 15. It is in a "Filter" folder in the plugin directory of elements.

Just a reminder, since it is not mentioned above.
Elements has to be restarted before a newly installed Filter shows up in the Filter Menu.

This may explain why this plug-in is not showing up in Elements 15. Terry had said: "I copy pasted into photoshop elements 15 plugin file". This would have been . . .
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 15\Plug-Ins
Everything should be fine if he takes one further step.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 15\Plug-Ins\Filters

My thought as well, ritage. I know I've overlooked this simple fix at times.

Just adding some more information for the benefit of new users of Elements who may be following this thread.
Always make sure to keep Elements closed while installing any add-ons. Elements is designed to automatically "scan" for any changes when you open it. If Elements is kept open, the "scan" won't happen until the next time you open it.

Thank you to every one who have helped with suggestions. This morning when I opened PSE Perfect Eyes was sitting there bright and shining. Sepiana, it looks like Ritage held the key to the puzzle.

That is because I have made that little mistake so many times, I can practically smell it in the air when others make it too
