I installed PSE13 on a brand new PC and moved all of my pictures after having saved the tags to the files. My problem is now that I am missing a lot of pictures that have been tagged before. I can find the pictures (where some have been given other tags), but I cannot remove the "weird" tags and add the correct tag. Anyone knows what to do ?

I have never used the organizer so can't help you but perhaps michelb or Sepiana can. I will bump your post up to the top. |

Hi poulbr,
Do you mean you have 'written metadata to files' (correct procedure) and then re-imported the files in a new catalog?
It's not clear for me if your problem is that the catalog does not contain all those files or if the tags are missing.
Could you elaborate on what is 'weird' in the tags your are seeing?
Are those normal tags or People, Events or Places tags?
