I occasionally have this to happen and can never remember just what I did to fix things. My Elements+ (Elements 7) Tray Menu icon will just disappear from the tray. For weeks and weeks, that icon has remained in the tray and I have used it countless times, then I go to click on it and it has completely vanished. I have read and re-read this: file:///C:/Elements+/7.0/help_files/en/tray-menu.htm The thing is, when my icon disappears, there is no "Elements+7 Tray Menu" option in my start menu; only "Help" and "Uninstall" Also, if there is a tray menu icon to click in my Elements+ Options dialogue, I sure cannot find it.   What am I doing wrong ? Thanks for reading. |

BuckSkin,
My guess is that you are using an older build of Elements+.
Try installing the latest version of "Elements+ for PSE 7" (v.8 released in 2015).
If you don't have the installer, please, PM me.

BuckSkin, My guess is that you are using an older build of Elements+. Try installing the latest version of "Elements+ for PSE 7" (v.8 released in 2015). If you don't have the installer, please, PM me. It appears that we were typing at the same time; I will look and see which version I have. Thanks. On EDIT: I clicked Properties and Details on the installer/download that I have and it says "File Version 0.0.0.0" |

In the "Tray Menu" menu folder, double-click "Elements+ Tray Menu.exe" file.

Please, try the following: In the "Tray Menu" menu folder, double-click "Elements+ Tray Menu.exe" file. Well...., just prior to reading this suggestion, I considered a restart of the computer and, when I opened the start menu, there at the very top of the list was "Elements+ Tray Menu"; this does not show up in the E+ start menu folder; I clicked it and low and behold my icon reappeared. I would not swear that that was at the top of the list a while ago when I looked, but if it was I sure did not see it. I intend to bookmark this page and next time I am going to try the double-click that you suggest. It is working again now. Thanks so much ! |

Considering how big a panic I get in whenever some computer glitch or other prevents my using it, it should be a testament as to how wonderful Elements+ is; I could not imagine having to do without it ! |
