Ever since I have been using Elements 7, I have noticed that --- for reasons completely unknown to me --- although I may have been using Black/White and no other colors during the editing of several images, just out of the blue, the foreground/background colors will show up as colors that I may have used several images ago, maybe even several days ago.
My question is: is there some command I can use to be able to bring back the last used colors even though I have been using black/white ?
There are many occasions where I may have been using for example Bone White and Oxblood, then two or three images later along, I may wish to use those exact same colors again; during the mean time, I would have only been using default black/white; --- it sure would be handy if calling back those colors were possible.
Thanks for reading.

I am not aware of such a command. The only workaround I can think of is to add a color you use frequently to the Color Swatches panel (Window>Color Swatches). This will make it easier if you want to use this color again. Then, all you need to do is click on the swatch and its color will replace the Foreground color in the Tools panel.

Another big THANK YOU ! Until now, I had not noticed Window>Color Swatches and was unaware such an animal existed; I will definitely be investigating it's possibilities and see what all it can do to make things easier.
