There were some lovely images posted throughout the week and as always it was difficult to just narrow it down to a few. Hope you enjoy my selections and I would encourage all the forum members to post their images to the gallery, I love seeing what everyone has been photographing while they're out and about.

dennis9 / Lawn bowls Surrey v Kent - I love how this photo tells us a story, everyone is so focused on the bowls and you've really captured the tension in the air.

Sydney / Orange ya glad I brightened your day? - Well yes I am glad, and thanks for providing your workflow, it's always of interest to me to know how certain effects were achieved, those blooms certainly pop of the page/ screen!

jjr1770 / It's the little things that make you smile - Cuteness overload, and details in all the right places, I like how the background fades out of focus along with the bare minimum strip in the foreground.

Scania / Janesmoor Pond - Your gallery this week was bursting with fabulous shots, special mention must be given to your waterfall images, superb captures, but the sunset over the pond was just breathtaking and your PP was perfect.

I was surprised and delighted to find myself finishing in the top four last week. Congratulations to Sydney, Judy and of course, the very worthy winner, Phil. Thank you also to Jackie for acting as judge in the week's contest.

I notice that this week's selection will be by poll vote - I am offering my apologies in advance for not voting, as I will be on a cruise ship somewhere and it is very doubtful that an internet connection will be available.
