Taken yesterday (Sunday) evening of my home city looking across the Itchen River. It consists of 3 x bracketed images merged and edited in LR.

Lovely color in the sky and just enough light in the shadows that we can make out some of the details. Thanks for sharing and adding info on your work flow. We all learn from images when the photographer is kind enough to share how he created an image.

We all learn from images when the photographer is kind enough to share how he created an image. Thanks once again for your comments. I was lucky yesterday evening as the light looked really good and that location is only 5 minutes away from home. I've also edited a few of the 'normal' exposure images as quite often there is no need to merge the bracketed images especially with the latitude found now in LR as far as exposure, highlights and shadows etc goes.

Technical photographer I am not. Is this a similar effect to panorama?
