I started in Elements 2.
I blurred the white flower image, then added the gladioli.( Both images are of flowers in my garden.)
I changed to Elements 11.
I tried all sorts of combinations, and liked this one the best.
I did the 'Lomo camera effect'.
Then the 'Vignette effect'.

Anything else I could have done to enhance it?

With the way you have blurred the white flowers the pink one almost seems like it is popping out of the picture!
