It's Saturday and time for a new CE Challenge.
Before we get started I would like to let you all know that this will be my last CE Challenge contribution. I have had fun hosting this with the other hosts of this challenge for the past 2 years and want to thank everyone who has taken part in these. These challenges certainly tought me a lot of new things and processes, but it is time for me to step back and let others take over.
On that note, I would like to encourage members to consider becoming a host of this challenge; the more people we have, the less work it is for everyone involved. We recently added two members as hosts to this challenge and I would love to see more people getting actively involved.
Right, now for the fun bit. I chose this video tutorial from davrodigital for this challenge. While I followed the tutorial for the most part, I did pick other brushes that worked better with my photo, I also experimented with the brush opacity and chose a different gradient. This is really all dependent on what sort of photo you use, so experiement with different brushes and settings. At the end of it all I decided that a texture was needed to finish this off.
