This is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen, I think! Can't even imagine what it must have been like to be there. Just spectacular......and I do hope that you've added this to your gallery.

I can almost smell the heather as I look at this and what wonderful colour. The adjectives sublime and spectacular have already been used and rightly so for your picture.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. Much appreciated.
I got up at 4am this morning, then a 45min drive to make sure I was at the location by first light, so I think it was worth the effort in the end.
