Lovely image, Sydney, and I'd encourage others to view it full size to see all the detail. At first I thought it was a shame that the window was blown out and some of the intricate window framing lost, but viewed properly and, I think this is enhanced being in mono, I really love how you get the feeling of light bursting out from the centre. To have pulled all the highlights back (or gone the HDR route as I would have been tempted) would have lessened this effect.

Old Sedan Church NE of Bozeman, Montana. I was standing knee deep in wet grass, and it was raining. My shoes were squishing by time I got back to the truck. RAW developed in Lightroom then additional processing in Silver Efex Pro.

Well Rick, those wet feet were certainly worth it! A great photos of this building. I particularly like the fact that even from this distance the wood has great character!

I wasn't sure if this was "Landscape" or "Architecture", so I flipped a coin and this one came up. Photo taken on a cloudy day with poor lighting, processed in Lightroom. I added some grain for a more grungy, dated look.

This was captured in Glynco, GA ~1970 on slide film; at the time these blimp hangers had a claim of being the largest wooden structures in the world. Because of the extremely high humidity clouds formed inside the hangers and sometimes it rained. The timbers were treated in such a way that it was impossible to burn them down.
