I'm new so if I am not in the right place or right format let me know. The other day I used the Text Tool and seemed to go well.I'm trying to use it tonight. I've selected the horizontal type tool and increased the fonts both to 72 but the text is tiny no matter what I do. Why can I not make late text?

Hi Carl, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
I am not sure this will fix this problem but . . . try resetting the Type tool. Click on the four-line square at the right end of the Tool Options area and select "Reset Tool". This usually fixes a tool's "misbehavior". (I am assuming you are using Elements 11 or above).

Thank you for responding. That seems to have fixed the problem-at least for now. Should have included I have a new MacBook Pro with latest Sierra and PSE 15. do I need to include that info each time I post?

It would be easiest if you included your specs in your signature. That way, they'll appear in every post you make. To do that, go to Profile | Edit Profile | Personal.
