Once again, thanks to everyone who shared their work—it’s always a pleasure to check out the latest Gallery additions, and I invariably find myself admiring the accomplished work on display. Here are my favourites this week:
With “Ovid Idaho Old Mormon Treasure” Helen takes us up an overgrown path to an abandoned building that has an air of simple elegance that survives the rough treatment of time and weather.
With “Morning Sun 2”, srmoment has captured a beautiful sky and a calm sea—and sunshine. An invitation to an ideal spot for a seaside walk, with weather to match.
My pick for Image of the week is fotofrank’s “Mantis”. With not too much imagination, this excellent macro capture makes the little creature look much more threatening that it really is.
