ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
The idea is to capture two or more objects, places, or people in such a way that will show how they are connected. You have some leeway here; you can approach this week’s theme literally or figuratively. Grab your camera, connect with it, and . . . shoot! Happy Connections!

Bill and his WiFi need to be connected to electricity or hydro as we call it in Canada - so here's part of that connection. Confession - the pylon pic was taken today but it was overcast and likely to stay that way for the next few days so I borrowed a sky from a couple of weeks ago and did a little photoshopping Tony

I love the "looking-up" perspective and all the "geometry" in your image. Amazing job extracting/replacing the sky!

Thanks Sepiana but the "amazing job" wasn't really too amazing. No extraction needed just layers. 5 mins to find the best blend mode for the layers was all it took. Silhouette of the pylon against a uniformly gray sky made it rather easy. Tony

Two railroad cars connected by a coupler. I was not responsible for the graffiti. Bob, this is a great interpretation of the Connected theme! The graffiti is a bonus; it adds colors to the railroad cars. Well done!

My still life experiments resulted in putting together some articles I now have. They all tie together, but maybe only in my mind The straight razor and slate box were my great grandfather's - he made the box while working in a slate factory The ring and watch (my high school graduation present) were given to me by his son - my grandfather who was born in Slatington PA The plate was my mothers.

Pete, great interpretation of Connected! A connection to your past. Beautiful image, emotionally-laden and . . . I love it!

One side of the lake is connected to the other side by the bridge. The bridge also connects the walking trails which run along both sides of the lake.

Andy, you came up with a very original interpretation of "Connected". Great capture! The details are just amazing.
