Definitely created a wintery feel but I have to say that my winter dreams are more in line with your starter image. We will be making our escape in February for a bit.

Yep. Why I no longer live in the snow belt.
With my design I wanted to use that kit with that photo. Had to change both kit and photo to make it work. Then decided to make it more a fantasy because she had so many dreamy accents in the kit.

Janice, I really like the stars and orb-like additions to the photo. The overall toning definitely gave it a wintery feel and your idea for the page is very creative. I should have said that in my first post.

Thanks for the kind words - at first it seemed wrong to ruin what I considered a beautiful original photo, but I have so many of those beautiful photos from outside my lanai door...
I struggled with this - forcing the photo to work with the kit -- and then the flowers from the kit didn't work...
- but in the end, I'm happy with the outcome. I love PSE's ability to change the world as we preceive it. So much fun.

It's a gorgeous kit Janice and you have composed a lovely page. It certainly conveys a real sense of winter. Speaking of which we had our first frost this morning...brrr!

Yea - I feel your pain. It was 85 F yesterday. All right, All right -- I am teasing you.
Actually, we've had a lousy fall - usually it cools down and the humidity goes down. We had that beautiful weather for a couple of days, then the humidity came back. I love 85 degrees, but I hate humidity and I was so looking forward to drier air. The rainy season is over, too. Good news and bad news. No rain = high water bills, lower Lake depth. Can't I just have it all. Whine Whine
