The original image I quite liked because of the suns rays coming through the trees, but as you see, the sky is bland and washed out. As I had bracketed the images @2ev, I merged them in On1 Photo Raw 2018 Beta but the sky was still a lost cause. So I masked in a new sky and here is the result. Click the images for a larger view.

Very nice result Phil with the boost in dynamic range and detail in the sky which you achieved through masking. I like those sun rays!

I seem to be able to obtain more accurate masking results in On1 than with Elements. I've tried and tried with Elements but can't seem to get a handle on the tools. (It's obviously me not Elements)

Great result with all those branches! I think the On1 technology for advanced masking is very impressive and their training videos are excellent.

The sky replacement matches the scene extremely well. The bland sky in the original was a blessing in disguise - made ON'1 perfect brush very effective.
Great edit
