For those of you who use Photoshop CC and have installed the PixelSquid plug-in (Window>Extensions>PixelSquid).
Earlier today, when I launched this plug-in, I was notified there was an update. I clicked to proceed with the update. However, when I tried to launch the updated version, an error message popped up -- something about this extension not being properly signed. Fortunately, there is a workaround.
1. Close Photoshop. 2. Navigate this path and delete the com.pixelsquid.heroplayer folder. -- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.pixelsquid.heroplayer 3. Go to the PixelSquid site or to the Adobe site and download the appropriate .exe file for your OS. (NOTE: The link for the Adobe site is listed on the PixelSquid page.)
www.pixelsquid.com/plugin_demo 4. Run the installer.
Now all should be well!
