Moderator's Note: This discussion has been moved from another thread.
Due to my recent EXIF corrupting dilemma, I experimented to see if the same scenario happened in E12; I got to the point where I needed to do Window> Images >Tile, so that I could drag one image on top of another; in E7 there are little icons at the upper-right of the image that allow this with a single click; if those little buttons are anywhere in E12 I sure could not find them; then, after getting the images to display in Tile mode, try as I may, I never did find a means of putting them back to Maximum size.

BuckSkin, starting with Elements 11, . . .
- You have the Layout menu (called the Arrange menu in Elements 8 through 10). - The button for the Layout menu is located at the bottom of the screen. - To display your images in the Tile mode, select the All Column option. - To display just one image in the workspace, select the Default option.

- The Arrange menu (Elements 7) is now called the Layout menu. Pray tell, where is my "Arrange Menu" in Elements 7 ? Thanks.

Pray tell, where is my "Arrange Menu" in Elements 7 ? BuckSkin, My sincere apologies! My mistake! I was looking at Elements 10. Adobe introduced the Arrange menu in Elements 8. In Elements 8 through 10 this menu is located on the Menu bar. Sorry for the confusion! I will edit my previous post.

How does this differ from Window> Images> Tile (or any other of the options, i.e., Cascade) which I have in PSE11 as well as 'layout' ? I know there are several new options in Layout, but functionally - how does this differ?

BuckSkin,
I forgot to address this issue concerning Elements 12 you mentioned in your OP.
If you go to Edit>Preferences>General and turn on "Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode", you will see an option listed -- "Consolidate All to Tabs". This option will do what you want (just like the Default option in the Layout menu). It will display just one image in the workspace.

How does this differ from Window> Images> Tile . . .? Sometime ago (Elements 8? Elements 9?) Adobe introduced tabs (tabbed images). With tabs, you have additional options when you use the Layout menu.
Two options in the Window>Images menu are available in the Mac version of Elements ONLY -- Minimize and Bring All to Front.
