ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
The idea is to capture your subject as you see it from, for example, a window, a balcony, a bridge, etc. Grab your camera and . . . fill in the blanks!

As it's another warm sunny day I'll kick this off with a worm's eye view - technically a View from... lying on my back underneath a pine tree Tony

From an airplane window, one of the Santa Barbara Channel Islands near sunset. De-fogged and sharpened only. I'm afraid I didn't take it this week, but I can't resist

Tony, you got this challenge to a great start with your thinking out of the box. I love the "from the corner of the frame" and "filling-the-frame" composition and how you captured the details on the tree bark. Beautiful shot!
We also had a warm and sunny day here. Temperature in the upper 70s. Heat off and windows open!

Field mouse view when spotted by a hungry hawk. Very scary if you're a field mouse. kdcintx, very original interpretation of this week's theme. Great composition -- minimalist, negative space! I love how you captured the details on his feathers. And . . . look at those eyes!

Looking down a couple flights of stairs at the Portland State University music building. The bonus is a fellow practicing his guitar at the bottom of the frame. The sounds echoing through the stairwell were beautiful.

Helped record submissions for the next show at the art guild today. This was the view from my seat at the table where work was received.

View from the other side.....of the arch. Bob, beautiful shot with the sky naturally framed by the red rock of the arch. Quite a view!
