I was recently asked if I could do an age progression of a two year old to a 30 year old. I've done lots of age regression but never progression.

I know there are lots of very elaborate and quite expensive programs that do this but I'm not into dumping a couple of grand into software that I won't use very much.

Anyone done this before?

I have never done this age progression effect before but I believe it is possible to do it using Elements. It will involve using the Liquify filter, the Dodge/Burn tools, the Clone Stamp tool, etc. There are many tutorials out there to create this effect. They are usually written for Photoshop but they can be followed in Elements with a bit of tweaking. Here are some examples of such tutorials.

NOTE: The Liquify filter in Elements doesn't have all the whistles and bells of its counterpart in Photoshop. You can give it a helping hand by following this tip.
