On every one of my previous PSE versions, my thumbnails in organizer would show the whole picture, regardless of thumbnail size. In my new install of PSE 2018, the thumbnails are showing the center of the pic (heads and or feet cutoff, etc...) Is there a setting I'm not seeing to fix this so the thumbnails can change size, but still show the entire picture? Thanks, Roger

Roger,
Your screen shot shows you are in the Adaptive Grid. This viewing mode allows you to see all your images edge to edge without the background around them and without information such as the image's date, star rating, etc. If you don't like this view, you can still use the old grid view (which is called Detail). Just press Ctrl-D (Cmmd-D on a Mac) or go to View>Details.

Sepiana, Thanks for your reply, changing it to detail now shows the thumbs properly. I was pretty sure that adaptive grid also showed them properly (not cut off) in the last version, but perhaps not. Anyways, your suggestion certainly works. Thanks much. Cheers, Roger

Roger, I am so glad you brought this issue up. I checked PSE 2018 on two computers (different screen resolutions, Windows 7, Windows 10). Yes, there is indeed some cropping of the thumbnails happening in this version of PSE. It is even more obvious in portrait-orientation thumbnails. I guess I had not noticed this because I tend to use the Detail view.
Here is something else. I played around with the Zoom slider to adjust the display size of the thumbnails and, depending on how you adjust it, the cropping is gone.
I went to the Adobe forums and learnt there has been a report of this issue (on a Mac). As a coincidence, Michel B, is helping the OP over there. It looks like there should be no cropping either in Adaptive Grid or Detail view.

I believe Michel B will be able to shed some more light on this issue. Hang in there!
