Hello to everyone. I stop by so seldom that I feel like a foreigner every time. That was true when the old village existed where many here came from.
I hope it is ok to ask a question about such an old version. I actually still use PSE 10. It is so comfortable and does all I either want to do or just what I am comfortable doing.
But, to my question about PSE 14. I bought it a few years ago for the updated camera profiles as I had a newer one and version 10 was not being updated anymore. You can correct me if I am wrong about that.
However, I never did use 14 because I absolutely hated the layout with the options bar situated at the bottom taking up so much space. Well, everyone once in a while I still try to use it.
So, can someone tell me if there is a way to reconfigure the workspace so the options panel present in a much smaller less intrusive manner. For instance, as some of you know, on version 10, the options were a narrow slice of choices above the workspace.
I do know that I can remove the options panel by clicking it shut after using it, but I want to know if there is a way to resize and permanently pin it to a different location.
If there is I might actually try to use it more.
BTW. If there is some beauty and functionality to the PSE 14 workspace layout and options that I am missing because I dismissed it too quickly, please feel free to let me know. I am always excited when I learn something I had overlooked or dismissed before examining a topic closer. (btw. did the newer versions remain like 14 or adopt a different approach. Seems like other software was always going in the direction of making the panels more and more discreet and less obtrusive while 14 went in the other direction.
Thanks again. And, Happy New Year!
